Comment How refreshing to have a new site like this tailor made to suit the members. The web builders and Fuji team have listened to the community and responded. It’s very contemporary, easy to navigate and has a fresh and exciting appeal. It’s a treat to have enlarged personal galleries to showcase our photos. I love the colour coded pages for the different features. The forums are easy to use and more fun with the ability to add images and expressive smileys. At last the quality of the images shine through with improved upload and the ability to enlarge them to fill the screen. The tagging system is an added bonus making a search easy peasy - so please remember to tag all your images. One of the best features is being able to make email contact with other members with complete confidentiality. This site creates a super place to host a photographic community where friends are made and skills shared. Jo x

Comment The new site is more colourful and easier to use than the old one, and has to some extent been designed by the users - a novel approach. The monthly competition is a way of seeing hundreds of photographs, from beginners as well as experienced photographers - over time it is interesting to see how the beginners get better!

Comment After being a member of the old site for just over 3 years and entering the last 34 competitions - I like the new site a lot but am anxiously awaiting to see what the competiton is like when it moves to this site.

I've found my way around this site mostly but aren't very good at 'techie' things (I'm 70 next month) - and don't like giving 'CC's' as I don't feel qualified - but hope comments on the new comps won't be just by selecting the no of stars.

I like being able to see all the new pics in the gallery with a quick look then following up those that interest me.
I haven't been out with my camera for over a month so have only put 5 of my most recent and one from last year in my personal gallery so far but am hoping to get some to add soon of local events etc. Dave!!

Comment The new site is a lot easier to navigate amd the transition between pages seem to be a lot faster than the old site. A lot of input has been given to the techie guys and they have biult on this to improve the way things happen. Lots of new feature are integrated into the new site such as adding images into forums, the facility to re-edit a forum post in the case of error. New users will quickly get used to navigating the new site, and if in trouble, the beta testers who have been on from the start of the testing will be only too willing to give a push in the right direction.

Comment I think the new site is a fantastic resource.It is an improvement over the old site in every single aspect.You can now easily embed images or live links as well as smileys into your posts . More people will be able to easily and readily share their world and knowledge with everyone else on this new site.I hope to see many of the old faces here(literaly),as well as some new ones when the site goes fully live.This is the new site we have all been hoping/asking for and i am very happy to be a part of it.
