Hi Folks! Kremmen here, Intergalactic hero and thoroughly good guy.

Are you fed up with just a single picture in a Photoblog?

Would you like a Photoblog to be proud of?

Well I’m going to show you how.

First find all the pictures you want to use and I copy them into a new folder to make them easy to find.

Now let’s get go boldly…

1.      Enter a title for your Photoblog

2.      If you want a picture in the menu on the home page browse for it and upload it here.

3.      Start entering you text here. When you have finished press enter to move to a new line.

4.      Now this is where a lot of people go wrong. To add more pictures click on this little tree icon and you will be greeted with a this…

5.      Then click on this icon and a new window will open

 6.      Then click on Upload

7.      Follow by Browse, and then browse to the folder with the pictures in and select the picture you want. Now click on the on the black Upload

 8.      Click on Insert and your picture will be inserted. Now press enter again.

That’s it you’ve added your picture. You can now enter more text or another picture.

Well Guys that's it.

I expect to see lots of great Photoblogs not these weak single picture ones.

So remember to boldly go where no hand has set foot.

With respect to Angie D

Well done, Kremmen. Our hero!

Could I suggest one or two additional bits of info that maybe you could incorporate somehow in your very concise and clear instructions.

File size of image. Some folk have told me that they can be as little as 50kb. I use 300. It's worth knowing that you have 10MB to play with but if doesn't make a difference to the image, the smaller the better (and quicker to upload!) ...

Hey, do you want to join my "Campaign for Better Creative Options in Photoblogs" ?  Or perhaps these options are there already and I just can't find them. How can we make the text larger? It's so fiddly and small font as it is.  Change the font? Is this possible?  Put text beside a picture and not just under or over it???

From a frustrated blogger.

the time consuming bit is the uploading as you can only do one photo at a time. Why cant we upload lots and then send them to the blog individually. Saves opening insert/edit image many times, followed by many browsings to your folder and searching for the ones you aint done yet. Photobucket manages to let you upload loads at once and then sort later so why cant fuji manage it?

I posted my first blog only a few days ago and I must say that I relied heavily on a previous forum on how to create it. To this end I think a better designed form would help prevent lot of the single photo blogs. In the short term Fuji could include (without too much work) the instruction that the blog upload form is only to be used for multiple photo submissions and perhaps include a link to a gallery upload.

Alternatively perhaps all uploads can begin on one page which includes a link to a gallery and another for a blog upload. In this way those people with only one photo to upload would be directed to the correct format.

I've just done my 1st photoblog 'Whernside ~ A Favourite Walk' and found it quite nerve racking. Does anyone know whether you can save you work half way through or get back to edit it ie for spelling mistakes etc?

hi Jim, you can edit by opening your blog and choosing 'edit' tab which is next to the 'view' tab at the top of the blog. Screen capture below shows the tabs.

I dont think you can save halfway without actually publishing the thing.

cheers, David
