Fujifilm X100
"The pictures are smarter than I am"
I studied anthropology in London for a while, but then I dropped out and now I live back home in Prague and walk around, hunting for pictures. This is some of the stuff that I see happening on the streets - nothing is staged.

This was actually taken with an X10. It's a homeless guy, a policeman tried to get him out of the tram stop but gave up pretty soon

He's not falling of the bridge, just doing a regular backflip on the street.

I liked this guy so I followed him for a bit - I don't think he noticed.

I'm not sure what it is about this photo, but I like it. I walked ahead of him and saw this pile of stones - it only seemed natural to juxtapose it with him.

This is a friend of mine, at around 4am and after pretty heavy drinking. The place was a sort of a gambler's hotspot - not that we gamble, but we like to drink a bit now and then.

I just sat there and waited for stuff to turn up. The shadow will probably remind you of something else than it does to me, but that's the beauty of it.

Sort of like the man behind the stones - this just works for me. A sense of calmness, I would probably say..

I often take pictures of legs, somehow they attract my attention. Again, I waited for something to happen in this ray of light - the lady's glasses fell on the ground. Nothing special, I just liked the light and colours.

I don't think this needs to be explained.

He did turn around right after I took this shot - I pretended to be doing something completely different.

Good images but please, when you post a blog, include a short description of each shot. This makes it more enjoyable for us to look at.

Some great photos here, and a remember that "seeing" is the first step of the process. I need that reminder, myself, right now. My favourite is the one of the back-flip--the way the angles come together.
