This is an absolutely beautiful image, timed just right. As others said, very atmospheric and a touch of poignancy too. Well done. You should be very proud of this cracker.

Regarding the above comment on my entry......lovely words Drew. I am going to change my title for the remainder of the competition. Made me cry but in a happy way! Thank you and my thoughts are with you regarding your pet.

Lovely  colourful shot, thanks for your comment on mine, as for manipulation, I am a PSP fan as I have used it for years. I like things that are slightly simpler, I have tried Photoshop but personally didn't get on with it.

However maybe one day I will find that PSP no longer does what I need. But for now I stick with the simplicities. LOL. BOL with the comp.

Lovely shot taken from a really good vantage point. The lighting is just right and the image has such a romantic feel to it. Love the depth of colour in the poppy and the golden light. VBOL!

Now that's what you call exceptional backlighting Drew, really like the angle to place the sunburst in exactly the right place, well spotted and executed image.
