A stunning image George that would not look out of place in National Geographic. Amazing colours and textures. Like the loww angle and the stunning detail. Very well done and best of luck.

Hello George. Thanks for your comment. I have looked long and hard and I do see what you did. After playing with the image a bit I decided that a rotation of 1/4 degree clockwise is actually required to true it up to the river surface and to achieve a perfect line through the dome. There is a bit of perspective distortion to the right which gives converging verticals. Didn't see it before but now it does look wrong. However, once I post a comp entry I leave it warts and all unless someone thinks the content is offensive. Your engineer's eye is still spot on.
Never seen these birds before so its a bit of a treat. As always a nicely chosen image for the theme. White birds are tricky to get good exposure so this is nicely done. Good detail in the rocks too.
All the best for the New Year

Very nice photo George, you had a job on your hands there making the birds stand out with so many dull stones around and you did a fine job of it. Hope it makes it to the winners platform for you, very best of luck with it.
