Aaargh!  I wish you hadn't picked that for your entry - there's a similar derelict crane on the canal near me, and I'd decided I would try that as my subject. Sad

Very impressive shot with the sky as the only background, it works for me and looks even better enlarged, the beautifully textured surface has clearly been exposed to the elements for many years.
