This is all that is left of a ball bearing manufacturer. The Shot Tower. It is now surrounded by a shopping mall and covered by a steel and glass canopy thing. Quite the contrast...(HS10 HDR)

Great shot (pun purely coincidental) Kym, with excellent detail in the brickwork, it's an unusual looking building and must be quite a sight from below. Is this one in Melbourne?
They would make lead shot by pouring moulton lead through a sieve from the top, which would form perfectly round balls as it cooled on the way down, landing in a tank of water at the bottom (amazing what you can learn from QI and Stephen Fry!).
