I have always wanted to do that!

Wow Viv, that's some parachute. Wonderful colours. It is an amazing experience. I had a guy on my back when I did it though, he did all the work getting us down.
Love the colours against the vivid blue sky, really shows the parachute up well. Very well captured and good luck Pam x

I had a go when Jacqui and I were holidaying in the Greek Islands (Poros) and it was a great experience that I'll never forget. That was before we were married so it was over twentyfive years ago (they probably couldn't get me off the ground now!).
This is a great shot. Your subject is big enough to see good detail but small enough in the frame to suggest great height and open sky, and the colours are really vivid too. One suggestion I'd make would be to have put him slightly up and right so that he's coming down into the shot and less central.

Thanks for the great comments everyone. This brave person is, in fact paragliding and not parachuting. It was in Rhodes and they were being towed behind a speed boat; still very brave in my eyey though!!

Brilliant colours Viv, looks very exhilarating. Did a hot air balloon ride for charity once, it was amazing so you never know. Wonder what it does for your blood presure? lol
