I hope you did not damage the knife only for this competition? Or is it a virtual break?

It is a real broken knife. It fell on the kitchen floor and the blade snapped as shown. I was looking at it on the window ledge and suddenly had a thought of how to make it useful again, as glueing it didn't work !
Fortunately, although 3 years old the supplier has replaced it under guarantee, nice to still have good customer service these days.
