I have never seen one of these clock and they look very impressive. The B&W suits this shot keeping and oldie theme. Nicely detailed and taken from a good angle. Well done and good luck this month.

Thanks for all your kind comments, thought I would add a little history about the clock. It was a gift to the Town of Rotherham by local business man James Hastings in 1912, to commemerate the Coronation of King George V, it was manufactured by McFarlane of Glasgow, there were only two manufactured, this one, and the other one stands on the promenade at Douglas on the Isle of Man.

Hi Colin. A great shot in B&W and I find the angle and perspective interesting and different.
Thanks for your lovely comments on mine. I submitted three framed photos into the Keele exhibition gallery recently and have just had them back to hang on my walls, so the gate one has a pride of place along with my Dragonfly and Winter Wonderland.(4th Fuji comp & Highly Commended prize in the Keele gallery) Hope you are keeping well. We're sailing the Baltic soon so more photoblogs in the near future. All the best. Alison
