I'm thrilled to get 3rd place - that's put a big smile on my face
I took this photo from my garden, the Kite had been sitting in my neighbours tree. I waited patiently for ages, hoping the batteries would last. The camera was only set on auto so I was very lucky to get him at just the right moment and in focus. For once I didn't use the continuous burst mode but managed to get the shot hand held with one exposure.
