I like this shot, and the rainy atmosphere, sepia is well suited, and there are nice creepages, leading lines or I don't know what in english, and you respect perfectly the rule of third, so it's a great urban shot for me... but it's a bit weird, what is this woman doing ? looking at the panorama ?

Nice capture Rosie, a very atmospheric shot even with the dismal weather, like the tone of the picture, but the person stood on the edge puzzles me,
Good Luck, Thankyou for your kind comments

Great composition Rosie with the bridge taking you beyond the figure on the right, and fits the theme. Good luck.

Hi Michelle (Rosie) A very eye-catching interesting thought provoking powerful image. The sepia style tone sets the scene rather like an old newspaper cutting depicting the story. A wonderful composition in which the eye is led into the distance and to the width of dimension to the person on the ledge. Well captured. Thanks for your lovely messages Michelle

Rosie, I love how you have managed to take this photo and make it look like it belongs in the 1920's. It does look pretty miserable up on the bridge.
Its fantastic, and I can see this making the top 3. Very well captured, good luck and a great big like from me. Pam.

This reminds me of the song - Leaning on the Lamp post, don't ask me why. A real true urban scene, perfect in sepia and a brilliant shot. This could be a winner in my eyes. Good luck !

Brooklyn Bridge, 41m high, a jump is mortal… But your friend is lucky, the pedestrian way is in the middle of the bridge, so the jump will only be 3,4m… But you land on the traffic lanes, and I don't know if this is less mortal!
Your picture is very good, I like the atmosphere. I would have called it Urban Depression.
Very much liked, best of luck,
Tilman

Wow, thanks everyone for your lovely comments.
And just to let you know, he didnt jump! I know this shot isnt quite in focus, but i had just glanced back up the bridge and this young chap had jumped onto it, so i took a quick shot and this is what i got, he then jumped down again and came to have a look at the shot i had taken.

I like the sepia tone Rosie. It gives the image a 1920s feel which really suits the composition. Very atmospheric. Well done.

Great capture. Think the sepia works so very well. Love the softness of the buildings on the horizon too. It's like a still from a movie and the guy on the edge adds a nice touch of intrigue. Best of luck and thanks for your comment on mine.
