I struggled with this months Abstract theme so I hope this one qualifies?

i would say this image counts as abstract for me , its a lovely image beautifully taken with lovely colour . i googled ABSTRACT PHOTOS it surprising whats classed as abstract , good luck

Not sure I would class this as abstract, but it's such a nice shot to look at, who cares? Beautiful macro with lovely vibrant colours and good DOF. Love the detail in those little hairs on the flower. Well done.

Thank you for your comment. I was not sure about the abstract theme so I did a search on google for abstract flower photography images and I was surprised with what pictures I saw. This picture is very similar to some on google. I decided to entry it and get other members opinion.

No question about it qualifying as abstract.........like the background flower which looks like a sun behind the bud. Good detail in the bud itself and as it is not what could be termed as a specimen shot it falls into abstract category..........Nice one

Yes Wendy- A nice Marco- but if you had solarize it-then it would be- an abstract- you are allowed-in photography anything goes. Try it?
