- So it might be warmer now, but it wasn't long ago that it was Baltic, as this #Fujifilm #S9600 owner's blog proves! http://t.co/sNVjkZe48E
- Sending one of these (mic, not camera) to @geekanoids to have a play with and let us know what they think http://t.co/oMdKC1XbZX
- Not quite sure how this #Fujifilm #HS10 managed to stop this fast-moving subject in its tracks - that's some skill! http://t.co/I2Vz8rGj80
- Perfect for British weather... http://t.co/CcYvg6Zr3b #rain #waterproofcamera http://t.co/K7E42nz2LZ

IHC Man Rota - 27th November
At the end of your task week when you mark your Discussion Thread and Registration Thread as "CLOSED" please copy and paste the whole of this Rota Thread to a new Thread showing the relevant Friday current date in the subject heading.
Any "new" volunteers putting their name forward for inclusion to set tasks can also be added to the list at that time....likewise any swaps or withdrawals from the rota can also be recorded as appropriate...and then move your own name to the end of the list showing the appropriate Friday date
To avoid cluttering up the forum with too many Rota Threads you can then delete yours after the next amended Thread is put up the following week
To recap, the task is posted on a Friday and to give a bit of 'thinking time' the registration thread is posted on a Sunday.
By way of explanation for newcomers to IHC MAN we have a rota to set tasks. As this is a 'Challenge' we don't have a winner or best entry...it's all about personal achievement.

Don't feel shy about putting your name forward, you don't need to be an 'expert' to set a task. If you're new to manipulation you could set a task around something you're interested in learning about. As long as you can describe the effect you're looking for, or can find a tutorial to provide a link to how to do it, I think that's fine. The concept behind IHC MAN is about learning your software, and one of the best ways to learn I find is to see how others approach things.
& new ideas are always welcome
Googling 'Photoshop tutorials' should provide a wealth of ideas. Okay not everyone, including me, uses Photoshop but if the tutorial has illustrations of each of the steps most people using other software can usually manage to work out how to replicate it.
Don't worry either if the task you have in mind might be considered simple, we need a good mix of tasks 'simple' and 'complex'. I don't think there's ever been a task set that I didn't learn something from, and I'm sure those of us who've been around a while would agree ... remember, practice makes perfect.
So, if you want your name to go on the rota put a request in this thread and you can then be slotted in.
