Hi Tom,

The main thing is, did you have a good evening?  It turned out that I sorted out an entry rather quickly.  I'm glad it wasn't an outside one.  We have just had a couple of days of 33 degrees and dry until this afternoon.  We are experiencing thunderstorms and heavy rain.  At least I didn't have to water the garden tonight. On with the show!  Gavin

After reading all the comment's and new threads over yesterdays result's i think that DeanMichaelCook should be judging today challenge as he clearly has a problem with me doing so, everyone seems to be getting just a little bit to uptight with one another.

As this is only supposed to be fun and a learning curve on our adventure within photography i would rather not take part in it anymore. 

for everyone else sorry and i hope DeanMichaelCook casts his professional eye over all of your shot's best of luck Tom

You had until 10am this morning to set your challenge so nothing to aplogise for. As for your win I asked for sharpness. In my opinion yours was the sharpest end of story. If Dean doesn't like it well he can always have a go and we can sit back and see if we agree with his choices if he wins. I look forward to your decision tonight.

Please don't go Tom...it's always nice to have new faces joining us and you have made such a good start. We occasionally have a sourpuss spoiling the fun and I find that it is best to ignore them and get on with my own stuff.

Cor blimey, basic photografick tecknickues??? If I had to apply those I'd never enter.
Afraid it's a snapshot from me every time with my cheap bridge camera since my even older pocket model has gone to camera heaven. 
Stick it on auto, point, shoot and hope I can crop to get a decent result.

Insight into my life? What life?

Five and a half sets of test papers, all to be marked for Monday morning, that's about seven and a half hours work - and I've already marked four and a half sets. Maybe that's got something to do with why we're fighting to keep a decent pension.
