Hi has anyone heard from or knows where DAZ has gone, The last time I chatted with him he wasnt to well but that was months ago. I have been e-mailing him but not had any reply. I didnt know if anyone on here was in touch with him. If any of you are can you please let him know that I have mailed him several times and that I hope he is ok. Thanks in advance.

Daz was one of the first people to offer me help and advice so I hope he is ok , I have also noted that the email on this site is not very good

Eddie - the email on this site is not a normal email service. Fuji will send emails on using the email address that you gave them when you registered. BUT they are not a 'service'. If you want to reply to an email sent to you, you have to click on the link at the top of the email which will take you to the sender's profile page where you can use the 'Contact' button to reply. Clicking the 'reply' in your email service (as you do normally) sends an email to Fuji (as they are the sender) and they will not send them on - too many risks attached to that!.

I agree Angie but if there is a contact button it should be that "a contact" between one member to another member, I have already had contact problems through this site to members, and will no longer use it, what would be ideal that would show a list of members online, and then click on there name to contact them as in other sites I use, not photograpic related but my other hobby marine fish keeping does do this

Fuji haven't got the facilities to do this Eddie - the most they can do (at the moment) is send your email to someone else. They cannot then act as an email server. The 'Contact' means you don't mind Fuji sending on emails to you. But to act as a server there are all sorts of protocols which would cause the whole thing to become very complicated.

Jerz (Lisa Garnier from Jersey) who became good friends with Daz on the Forum seemed to disappear around the same time.....very strange!

LOL Kev, your right, I never noticed jerz was missing but now that you mention it she and Daz were getting close. Lets hope its something romantic like that and not a health problem or worse.

dread to think what people would think if I was away on holiday at the same time as Kev and Andy LOL. If I remember Daz was quite ill, so do hope he is ok!! I did appreciate his comments and help

I looked up Jerz and she hasn't put anything on since early March, Daz last put a pic on in early feb, I hope they are both ok in what ever they are doing. Daz and I used to e-mail each other about once a week, I keep sending them but not getting any returns from him, I guess when he gets round to it he will reply but he will see that I have sent some. I hope everyone else is well.
