This is my recent 'motion'entry, I think it is an interesting shot for the theme, but maybe I should try capture something with some motion blur?

Depends how powerful an alternate you have in mind Dean.......
Out of the top sixteen Top Rated shots in the comp' only three have any blur the rest are all frozen motion........

apart from getting the old chap to run furiously whilst being hunted down, i dont think you could get much better than this to represent motion.
