Many thanks for your comments Ray. Did take a couple of shots from the front to start with, but the sky & light behind seemed too bright and you lost the detail of the horse & rider.Trial & error, learning all the time. Many thanks RayRegards Dave

Just entered four new pics to my gallery. First attempt at some action shots ,was looking for any comments/advice on them. Taken at a local trial this weekend. Not into the sport itself but thought it was a good opportunity to have a go at some shots. Many thanks Dave

Ok, I have a question..I have a S1500 and I am confused. I've heard it called a Bridge camera...someone called it a DSLR...which is it LOL! I'm trying to "classify" my camera and I'm confusing myself LOL! Any tips on what to call this type of camera?

Over the weekend I am hoping, weather permitting, to get out and about with my camera. One of the places I intend to go, has a foot bridge over a dual carriage way, and I'd really like to get the 'headlight blur' from the passing traffic.what tips are there for doing this? Thanks in advance.
