When you upload an image, can you only do one at a time? Can you upload multi-images.

P/S Hi Ray you are going to be busy

Each image needs a title for it to upload. I'm not sure how you would do that with the system adapted here. Also be aware of the 30 pics a month limit. Go over that and you won't be able to upload more for quite a time.

I think you will be able to upload if you hit the limit, but you'd have to delete an equal number of existing pics to make room for the new ones

Hi Kev.

Don't believe it. I've tried in the past and it doesn't make a ha'penth of difference despite what the screen may tell you.

Hi Ray/Kev thanks for your replies, happened to me yesterday the system told me to delete some pics before i could upload any new ones. Confused by the 30 limit, does that mean for example i could upload 30 in Jan and then no more till Feb, but could I then upload another 30 making 60 in total, or is it 30 max

cheers Eddie

At the moment the allowance is 30 images per calender month, Fuji is looking into changing this and they did a thread asking on our thoughts on it a few weeks ago. Once you have uploaded your monthly allowance you have to remove images before you can post again that month, although often you have to remove quite a few to be able to post one new one. If you don't delete any then have to wait a month before you get allowed another 30 images to be uploaded currently, but that could be changed soon as i said.

http://www.myfinepix.co.uk/forum/4/195406

in that thread Fuji themselves state the following

Members that have already exceeded the reduced maximum will not be able to upload any additional images until their 'account is back in credit' - either by them removing some images, or by enough of their images becoming "30 days old".

Thanks g0ne for that link just read it all, makes me feel guilty for uploading so many pics in one go without even realising there was a problem. I bought my new HS10 and followed the disc instructions which leads you to this web site, and as i now own a fuji camera thought i would learn more about my HS10 with other people using the same camera.

I am a total novice when it comes to photograpy, someone did make a comment in the link you sent that there are lots of info from the internet and books and should read up on your photos etc before you post, well i believe in learning from hands on and I believe I can learn more from experienced people like those who have already responded to my gallery. I was under the impression that you upload all your photos to be made available for praise or criticism or any other comments made.

I also have keen interest in marine/ reef keeping and do run an 8' tank and i use a well known web site, dont know if I can mention it so I wont, but I use it to upload as many pics as you want, so I assumed this would be similar. I hope I have'nt offended any on in doing so. I will try to be more selective in the futuire

Many thanks Eddie

Hi eddie.

I think you can mention any site you wish as long as it doesn't go against forum rules.

The reasoning behind the gallery limits is they don't charge so it would cost considerably more for them to run if there was no limit. It must cost them an arm and a leg as it is.
