f550 video problems......
Submitted by Leigh Smyth on Tue, 15/05/2012 - 21:27
Hi
I would really welcome some help here please, I have recorded a few short video clips on my f550 but when I put them on my computer, the pic looks fine yet the audio is really fast!!
I am using the memory card that came with the camera, wonder if that is the problem so have ordered a class 6 card.....
have tried it in a number of settings , with no better results (except one low resolution that had no sound atall!!!)
so any experts out there...what movie setting should I have it on, what card is best, and any other tips to record video with the sound in sync would be wonderful!!!
thanks in anticipation........

If you are using windows media player try going to 'Tools' / Options / Devices / Advanced and make sure you have all the boxes ticked in that section and see if that helps.
If you are using Quicktime go to Edit / Quicktime Preferences and make sure the Audio section is correct for the sound card and the safe mode is ticked . Also under the view tab make sure the ' play all frames ' is ticked.
Quicktime is normally the best player to use for MOV files or the free download of VLC media player for a good all rounder including DVD playback.
