PLEASE HELP! I haven't been into photography for very long and am looking for some editing software that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and is something I could learn without pulling my hair out! I have Serif Photoplus and even downloaded the manual but, I feel that it is still geared towards somebody who knows what they are doing to a certain extent. I don't find it very intuitive.

I've always been a tad disappointed with my underwater pictures because of the blue colour caste. I've just been having a play with the auto white balance in the Gimp. It does seem to emphasize the reds a bit too much but it looks very promising.I'm going to have a go with manual white balance next time - I bought a white underwate slate.http://www.clifford.org.uk/recentphotos/bits/white_balance/tn/dscf2232.jpg.index.html

I entered a photo into the contrast comp and for some reason, the photo became very dull so I checked it out and had to over expose the highlights in the editing suite and now looks the way I want.I will put both photos to compare what I mean.

Smart Photo Editor Has anyone given it a try ?

Hello to you all,I was wondering if anybody else has tried out this, i believe quite new, photo editing software?I downloaded the free trial a few weeks ago,and i am very impressed with it.The only thing with the trial version ,is that you are unable to save your work,but obviously when you buy the full product, about £19.00 i think, it can be saved.Look forward to hearing from you..Pete

anybody had this problem since getting cs6 i cant get to raw from bridge a mesage comes up saying camera raw is not enabled ,camera raw requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once...i have tried adobe and there forums, a reinstall i cant be arsed with as i would have too reinstall plugins,it will open from mini bridge in cs6 but not bridge i still have cs5 installed could that be the cause with file association ?anyone else have this problem ?

Hey, I'm not exactly new to editing but I was wondering if anyone knew any really good websites to use for photo editiing (other than photobucket).I used to use picnic on a regular basis but it got moved to Google+ and its now a bit of a hassle to use. Photobucket is a good website but it doesnt have the feautures that picnic had. I'm not looking to download any software or anything because my computer is pretty old and getting REALLY slow and more software on it will make it even slower.

HelloSomeone very kindly took my wedding photos for me but did not edit them and I think they could all do with a bit of work! If someone could make this photo look better that would be wonderful thanks, I have had a go myself but I have cropped it and only been able to make the grass greener!

I have started to try and use Serif PPX4 yet again. I am finding that saving an edited image to jpg is near impossible. This seems to be because PPX4 always saves the image to an SPP file and it will not save the original image either.I have looked on the Serif forums and there are some people who appear to have the same problem. Those that seem to know an answer always use 'jargon' and assume that everyone is 'editing' literate. Even these 'knowledgable' replies don't seem to fix the problem.
