Water photos - what do you think?
Hi all,
Got back from Berlin this weekend and have lots of photos, some of which I will be sharing on blogs and feedback etc.
I have just added two photos to my gallery focusing on water from two fountains. I think there is definitely one of the photos that works better than the other as I wasn't necessarily thinking too much abou the framing just experimenting with the capture of the water.
If anyone has any thoughts on what they think and how I could improve them please let me know. All feedback welcome - good or bad. I need to know the bad things to be able to improve them. Please leave comments here or on the gallery.

Like the 2nd one but the first I think is a bit between macro and not macro and I think has no real focal point. Cropping the first one to one area of splash may help but I think it needed slightly more water surface to give the splashes more impact.

Be what you are, say what you feel, 'cos those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

The second coup have been improved with a shallower dof to blur out the background a little and draw focus more to the fountain. You could have used a wider apature and slower shutter to get some motion blur in the water too
Good shot tho, nice andsharp.
