Cant add competition photo

Please can you help, i uploaded a competition photo today and then decided to change it, so i deleted my old photo.
Now i come to enter competition and the site states
"You are already competing in this competition with the entry below".
but i don't have a photo entered and the site does not show my old entry, any ideas??

Just a thought~have you cleared your cookies and temp files? (don't know if it makes any difference)

Do you have anything under the "my competition entries" page? Give it a look, if the shot is still there use the link to open it and delete it.
I suppose uploading on the first competition day does create issues. That's why I waited a bit.
