After another great gathering last month, there seems to be a demand to do it all again later in the year.After checking my shifts, the only dates I can arrange it for is 1-3rd November.2nd point is do folks want to try somewhere new? I know we've got comfortable at Ambleside, but there is a big old Lake District out there waiting to be explored.I was thinking of suggesting Keswick as this opens opportunities in the north inc Buttermere, Borrowdale and all the areas around Keswick.Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Evening all,I thought I'd see if anyone would be interested in a photography day at The Raptor Foundation (http://www.raptorfoundation.org.uk/). This is a place I love going, my very first trip with the HS20 and my first blog was from a day at the foundation - http://www.myfinepix.co.uk/blog/728788/438207 - along with most of the birds of prey shots in my gallery. Hiii, not surethisis the right "forum" for this. Don't really want to give too much away (safety) I am fairly new to photography and I a interested in a club / society to learn more about photography in my local area. Does anybody know of any in Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth area? I'm only really interested in digial photgraphy - I don't have a film camera, but any type of photography would be ok - landscapes, portraits, macro etc - I'm new to photography so I want to explore

OK folks, here'sa few ideas and plans etc for next weekendEsquires have confirmed the upstairs room is available next Friday from 4pm (for newbies it's on the 1 way system just oppoisite the cinema (trust me you can't miss it!).Have had a chat with Sue about Friday evening stroll, and unless folk want to drive out of town, we both feel the best options are for a wander up the waterfalls, but will leave that to you to decide Friday.

It has been announced that the Rhyl Air Show will be the 31st August and 1st September 2013.No aircraft have been announced yet but the organisers have said that the amount of participating aircraft will be bigger than last year.The 2012 Show had a great aircraft line-up, you can see some of them on my blogDay 1 Part 1

Anyone interested in visiting Slimbridge some time this year. If there's enough interest (more than 12) we might be able to qualify for a group discount. It's not much but every little helps. With the group discount one person goes free but if everyone pays that reduces the price a little more.

Hi just wondered if any members live in Leicester and would fancy helping a complete novice with a few tips,I'm disbled so can't realy go rambling around the country side on foot, I can walk a short distance if a place is accessible by car, otherwise I have my wheelchair to get around in, being disabled also means I have lots of free time, I'm only realy restricted by hospital/doctors appointments and school runs in the mornings.If any of you are local to me through some ideas at mePaul...
