Yesterday while out for a walk with the dog we stopped at a local park that has swans and as they were nesting we decided to go have a look. There are also all manor of ducks and birds there too. Well imagine my horror when i witnessed a male mallard duck sitting on top of a female and it drowned the female. He kept the female under the water for a good 5 mins before he got off her and she floated up to the top of the water. It made me want to cry, but i suppose thats nature for you.Has anyone else witnessed anything like this before?

Mind you, that Shaggy was always a bit suspect; but it'll probably turn out that Velma was the mastermind behind a dog-ging ring and Fred was doing the grooming.Of course, it's not really a laughing matter - but you do have to wonder where it will all end.

hi guys im after some advice, i currently own a canon 350d and have extra lenses, filters and otherr bits and bobs, im looking to take up proffesional photography and want to know if any of you have suggestions on a different camera!! dont get me wrong i absolutely love mine but i want 1 that the lcd display shows me what im taking a picture of rather than just comin on to show me the picture i have already taken.my budget is around £500 unless i sell mine and then i will have the money from that aswell.Any advice would be greatly appriciated.Many thanks

Apparently there has been explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. UPDATE: LIVE REPORTShttp://www.bloomberg.com/live-stream/UPDATE: 4/17/13 CNN reporting suspect has been arrested, identified from surveillance video, no other details, briefing scheduled for 5PM EDT.There seems to be some conflicting information between news sources. Some say their sources indicate that no arrest has yet been made only that a suspect has been identified.
