Annual Butterfly Count
Submitted by Marion Wager on Sat, 28/07/2012 - 23:18
Does anyone else do the annual butterfly count run by Butterfly Conservation?
I did my count today & was surprised by the number I saw, although one or two entire species such as the Small Blue, were absent compared to last years observations
I took a few pictures too

Gate Keeper

Speckled Wood

Meadow Brown

Small Copper

Ancient Red Admiral

Marbled White

Mornin Marion....A very slow start here on Anglesey. It's been cool and damp since that lovely spell we had in April. If I was a Butterfly, I'd have stayed hidden too. Bloomin miserable to go out!!! Good luck with your count and yep, smashin shots. XX
