Hello! Fancy finding out what goes on at Fuji Towers? We'll keep you updated with our tweets on Twitter-from the nitty-gritty camera talk, to the trivia of who's turn it is to put the kettle on, we'll cover it all.
See you there!

Surely the right place to discus Fuji matters is here on MyFinePix the Official Site. To divide is diluting and this site needs all the help it can get at the moment it's ............. it's ............ dying ............ sob ........... Snappy raises bugle to lips and plays the last post.

Marc never gets the coffee, although he has been known to dip into a Mr Kipling every now and then. x

It's all part of Web 2.0 Snaphappy. My sites auto-update through Facebook, twitter, blogger and so on. It's all about networking, and it's the way forward for all websites. Some don't like web 2.0, but is a must have really
Might be worth adding a myfinepix facebook page, then hook it up with twitter for content feed via FB twitter app. I expect the next thing to appear on the site will be an "Add this" module, so people can tweet/share topics and threads.

So are we all moving over to Twitter? Did you watch the Homo Interneticus on Saturday? I think Chris is right - but I do like my individuality!

I will stick with just this site.
No interest in who is going to the loo and what colour undies they are wearing etc etc etc....

Before I find out what is going on in Fuji Towers, I would prefer it, if Fuji Towers found out what is going on here half the time!

Ditto.
Jen, I defy ANYONE to make you do anything. Nobody dare!
We love you but we are all scared of you.

I was recently contacted through Facebook by a friend and had to join (I think) to receive message. It doesn't appeal to me so I have no intention of using it. Then a couple of days ago a young lady (Hbnj Zq) wanted me to be her friend. How friendly is that I thought (being naive) but took no action. Then my Grandaughter has just had to explain to me that she is a p*rn star. Strewth, where did I put the password.

It's not so much about people here using twitter instead of the forums, it's all about networking, link backs, and spreading the word.
For example, I have these for one of my sites, and they cross promote each other

Bit dodgy that Chris isn't it. Could lead to inbreeding if you aren't careful.
How's your back by the way?

LOL You know what us Yorkies are like
I've got more sites pulling feeds and content from each other, than sense. But that's the way these things work. Even my personal facebook page pulls content from flickr, twitter and my site via RSS feeds.

Do as Marc Horner is doing. Type the first thing that comes in to your head lol
Seems Fuji towers is not feeding Marc enough. Poor guy is crying out for chocolate!!!! But I bet none of the staff fetch him any, until he takes back the comment about pet detection in the office PMSL

Think ya found me already Derek lol
Have to say, twitter was a good move all round for myfinepix/Fuji. It breaks down the perceived barriers between members and Fuji UK, as well as creating a whole new network for members and staff to join in.
Top idea who ever it was that came up with it.

Just the silly little things in life that change a faceless and nameless site owner, in to a human, Jen. Had it not been there, we would never have know that Pet detection software was being used to locate members of Fuji staff PMSL
You must now use your imagination to picture this:
Marc Horner running round with a ghetto blaster with this tune playing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=He82NBjJqf8 While another member of staff runs round with an F80EXR with pet detection switched on, seeing if it pics out any faces of staff members. LOL

Nothing to see here..............move along please!

It's all about just posting little snippets of your day, random thoughts, or what your doing at any given time Steve. Just a silly bit of fun really. But it can also be useful, as I now know via private message that some staff from Fuji will be seeing us at Focus on Monday the 8th
So a chance to meet the real people behind myfinepix site.
