Love the B/W but to be honest (and it's only my opinion) I think you could have done it with the one hat in the middle, it's a strong enough image to carry the photo on it's own.

I like the compostion as it is - I think one hat would have looked a bit boring.  This b&w version looks better than the colour one in the discussion thread.
Good shot for the theme.
