I have not tried it but this might also work beautifully in B/W. It has a wide range of shades and interesting forms. Not an easy job but could be promising Smile

Thanks guys and girls, not expecting so many comments! my inspiration for this shot came from this guy:

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Bauer_(illustrator)

I don't think he is known much outside Sweden, his illustrations for the childrens books  "Among Gnomes and Trolls" are very much in this style, (I used to read these stories for my children when they were small).
