FinePix S5 Pro
Birdseyeviewphotos in action with the S5Pro
Pros:
F2 Setting gives Velvia saturation, fits in the hand well In the field ie East Africa it has never let me down Tough
yet low priced by today's prices. £5000 plus for a Nikon I bought cars for less but not today look around try eBay,,,but don't miss the bargain of the DSLR's

Cons:
A bit slow they say to record ? best not used with the MD-200 Drive can freeze. Look out for high " mileage ones " Popular with Wedding photographers and Studios

Used this camera since 2008 in my opinion gained by taking and being involved with photography since the age of Nine and I am coming up for 68. I have worked in Photo retail and in Wholesale and now use them on my photosafaris, but words are words go to flickr.com type in FujiS5Pro and see the results people are getting with a camera last made in 2008 and see myfinepix.co.uk/ gallery/53681 I have got a second one mint for £399. less than 3000 accuations, buy one or two and you have a bargain.

What a great review but what's the profile picture showing such a young man ?
Answer that was me in the 50's at London Zoo with a Miranda DR 1.9 the first reflex I bought with my salary for £49:00 from Vines in Trafalgar SQ. Working in retail I could use any of second-hand cameras in stock but could not afford a Hasselblad in those days. I used the company one for commercial work and weddings.........but that was another age that film one and whilst I was slow going digital it was at 60 when my brother bought me a my choice a S5500 and that got me on the Fuji Track never looked back.......bought my wife one S 1600 and I also carry a JX300 in my pocket at every waking hour

Since writing this review on the 6/7/12 I have today 10/7/12 bought an IS as well, basically the same thing as the S5 but with a few more whistles and bells with Infa red abilities and what a performer it is. I agree with the comment of mr.MR above, I can accept that not everyone uses Persil but if you don't atleast try out a Fuji at what ever price range you can afford I think your missing out.......but readers here are the converted......
