About me
Born and bred in beautiful Cornwall, I got into photography in the mid '80's to help combat agoraphobia. It enabled me to leave my home and eventually to travel further afield. Together, with my husband I started a camera club, it was very successful but after 13 years I retired and just settled down to taking pictures. My passion is swans and I made the trip to Abbotsbury Swannery in Dorset in the mid '90's,travelling there every year until this year when-so far, through ill-health -I am unable to get that far. I just love my camera and now enjoy taking subjects in and around my garden. Foot-note; anyone who suffers from the debillitating illness agoraphobia would do well to buy a little camera-anything, compact or otherwise, it could possibly have the same affect on you, it could change your life, as it did me, I haven't looked back.
